Purpose
Project Engineering – Project Lead to support the execution of a portfolio of projects centred around infrastructure upgrades.
The experienced Project Lead will have an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary engineering team to plan and deliver projects on time and within budget.
We are looking for an experienced individual who can hit the ground running and has delivered on significant projects within a highly regulated environment. Ideally, the candidate will also have education/work experience and aspirations to develop clear skills and competencies around dealing with a live pharmaceutical production environment. The capital projects team are best in class in the execution of projects safely.
Responsibilities
1. Perform procurement, acceptance of equipment and associated infrastructure, and report regularly on project status throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety codes, practices, approved project KPIs, performance standards, and specifications.
3. Liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and vendors to define and deliver right first-time project deployment.
4. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project goals, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
5. Support other project participants to overcome obstacles when they present themselves.
6. Deliver performance metrics for budget, schedule, scope, and quality adherence.
7. A knowledge of Automation and Systems related projects would be an advantage.
Requirements
1. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
2. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a project management role.
3. Detailed knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
4. Exemplary communication, dedication, and keen focus on delivering key success factors within the role.
