Management Information Reporting Specialist
What we do
The Management Information Reporting Specialist at Allianz Health and Life is responsible for providing accurate and timely management information to support the business. The Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in data analysis and reporting to important stakeholders including insurance partners, regulators, tax authorities, and senior management. The Specialist works closely with the Corporate Actuarial function.
What you will do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Extract and analyse data: Retrieve and manipulate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and actuary outputs.
* Design and develop reports: Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools like Excel.
* Collaboration: Understand reporting requirements by working closely with actuaries and other team members.
* Ensure data accuracy: Validate and reconcile data to maintain accuracy and integrity.
* Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports: Generate reports for management, regulatory, and compliance purposes.
* Monitor KPIs: Track key performance indicators and provide insights to improve business performance.
* Assist in business analysis model development: Contribute to the development of models and assumptions.
* Conduct trend analysis: Identify patterns and trends in data.
* Participate in cross-functional projects: Collaborate on data governance and process optimisation initiatives.
What you need
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/experience:
* SQL proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
* Advanced Excel skills: Proficient in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
* Analytical abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication: Ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Insurance industry knowledge: Familiarity with insurance concepts.
