Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), with a strong background in commissioning, control strategy implementation, HVAC plant operation, and system optimization. This role requires a hands-on engineer capable of delivering high-quality commissioning services on site, ensuring all systems meet project and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commission and optimize Building Management Systems using platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Cylon, Distech, and other industry-standard systems.
* Develop, write, and commission BMS controller strategies tailored to project requirements. Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure effective implementation.
* Commission and optimize HVAC plant systems to improve energy efficiency and overall performance.
* Develop and commission custom BMS frontend graphics that align with client specifications and system functionality.
* Perform functional testing, diagnostics, and issue resolution during commissioning and startup phases. Provide technical support as needed.
* Interpret and generate commissioning documentation including test plans, reports, and as-built drawings. Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer or similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of BMS platforms including Trend, Tridium, Cylon, and Distech.
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems and plant operations.
* Qualified and competent to work on live BMS panels.
* Experience in developing and commissioning BMS frontend graphics.
* Familiarity with commissioning procedures, technical documentation, and compliance requirements.
