About You
The ideal candidate for the Security IP, Sr Manager role is a visionary leader with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation. You are adept at managing complex projects and leading diverse teams towards achieving strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understanding Security IP applications on customer-specific SoC and systems.
* Staying abreast of the latest ASIC/SoC design flows and EDA tools.
* Providing expert advice and support to configure and resolve Security IP integration challenges, including configuration, validation, synthesis, floorplan, STA, DFT, silicon bring-up, etc.
* Giving feedback to Synopsys R&D for continuous Security IP product improvements.
* Participating in R&D design reviews to align development with future customer needs.
* Managing and leading multiple groups or departments within the applications engineering function.
* Providing technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
* Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex electro/mechanical, computer systems, software, and network issues.
* Interacting with senior management to align on strategic objectives and operational goals.
* Implementing policies and evaluation criteria to support broader business changes.
* Allocating personnel resources effectively to meet schedules and achieve targets.

What We Need
* Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Typically requires 5+ years of experience in design, verification, or applications.
* Skills in cryptographic algorithm implementations and related security algorithms (e.g. hashing, symmetric ciphers (AES), public key cryptography (RSA, ECC), MACSec).
* Extensive experience in technical support engineering.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
* Proven leadership and management experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to interact with senior management and cross-functional teams.
