Procurement Manager - Wastewater Treatment - Santry, Dublin
Office/Project Location: Santry, Dublin
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Location: Office Based with site visits in Dublin
Pay: €65K - 75K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
Experience: 5+ years
Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
Our client is a leading provider of water and waste treatment services to industrial and municipal clients across Ireland and the UK.
They are seeking to expand their Engineering team with the addition of a Procurement Manager.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Manager located in Dublin.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement, and contract management.
The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, analysing market trends, and coordinating procurement processes.
1. Sourcing key suppliers
2. Negotiating purchasing agreements
3. Contract management
4. Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
5. Budget and inventory management
Requirements:
1. A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
2. Experience in the water and waste treatment industry is a plus
3. Supplier evaluation and contract negotiation skills
4. Analytical skills and procurement expertise
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills
6. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
7. Ability to work well in a team and independently
Package:
€70K negotiable based on experience
Performance based bonus of up to 12% of annual salary
Initial fixed term contract of 1 year
23 days/year (34 days) of Annual Leave plus all the Irish bank holidays including Good Friday
Access to defined contribution pension scheme upon successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.
