Our client, a leading firm of accountants and advisors, is seeking a recently qualified accountant for the position of Corporate Finance Executive.
You will join a team of highly experienced professionals who have won numerous awards for their corporate finance deals. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain top-quality corporate finance experience in a business that values its people.
The business has an excellent deal flow, and it is anticipated that this year will be another successful one. You will work with a wide variety of clients on an extensive range of projects from mergers and acquisitions to valuations to business planning and raising bank finance.
The Role:
* Carrying out pre- and post-contract financial due diligence and financial reviews
* Preparing and assisting with valuation reports
* Mergers and acquisitions growth strategy for national and international clients
* Preparing business plans and integrated financial projections
* Fundraising - understanding banking facility agreements and overview of lenders and funding options available in the Irish market
* Assisting with financial modeling
* Advising on debt and equity raising
* Assisting with sale or purchase mandates including preparation of information memoranda and management of virtual data rooms
* Preparing decision-making papers for presentation to key internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting in the structuring of deals
* Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
The Candidate:
* A qualified accountant in ACA / ACCA / CPA with at least 3-4 years of experience
* This experience could be in corporate finance or alternatively in audit, accounting, or tax
* A curious mind, can-do attitude, and strong commercial acumen
* Previous experience working on projects and preparing reports for transaction services/M&A/due diligence is an advantage
* Ambitious, self-motivated, and excited about working in a client-facing role within a dynamic team
* Excellent accounting and analytical skills
* Strong leadership skills to encourage and mentor junior members in the team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Great interpersonal skills with all stakeholders
* Previous experience managing assignments from planning, preparation, and reviewing
* Excellent Word, PPT & Excel skills essential
