Senior Manager Maintenance, Facilities & Utilities Engineering

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the Maintenance, Facilities & Utilities Engineering team across our Anngrove site in Carrigtohill. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in delivering excellence in engineering, ensuring that all engineering, operations, quality, people, cost, and service metrics are achieved.

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

* Developing and implementing an engineering plan for the site
">
* Ensuring that all engineering, operations, quality, people, cost, and service metrics are achieved
">
* Maintaining and reviewing maintenance, facilities, and utilities engineering objectives and dashboard metrics
">
* Communicating departmental progress through business unit review process and other forums
">
* Building a high trust and engagement culture within engineering
">
* Leading and demonstrating behaviors that drive engagement every day
">
* Ensuring that the engineering organization structure is fit for purpose and implementing any changes using effective change management approach
">
* Supporting and mentoring other team members as required and participating in talent review process outside of own area
">
* Ensuring effective performance management, communications, and recognition within function
">
* Driving a robust world-class lean/continuous improvement program across additive build
">
* BUILDING A STRUCTURE AND PROCESS TO DRIVE ADDITIVE MAINTENANCE & FACILITIES TEAMS, AND MANAGING A ROBUST REVIEW, MONITORING AND COMMUNICATIONS PROCESS ALIGNED WITH THIS PROGRAM
">
* SUPPORTING AND/OR MANAGING MAJOR CI PROGRAMS (INCLUDING COST OUT INITIATIVES) AS REQUIRED, WHICH MAY INCLUDE BEING INVOLVED AT ANY OR ALL PHASES OF PROJECT/PROGRAM FROM IDEA TO EXECUTION PHASE

* DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE IMPROVEMENT CONCEPTS THAT BECOME CANDIDATE PROJECTS
">
* PROJECT MANAGING IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES AS REQUIRED
">
* CONTRIBUTING AS SME ON SPECIFIC PROJECTS/PROGRAMS
">
* PROVISION OF ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR EXISTING AND NEW PROCESSES
">
* STANDARDIZING APPROACHES AND PRACTICES ACROSS OPERATIONS AND ENGINEERING
">
* All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
">
- Level 8 NFQ in Engineering or similar discipline
">
- Lean Diploma/Green Belt qualifications
">
- Minimum of five years' leadership experience with significant people management responsibility in a manufacturing environment ideally in a regulated industry
">
- Good understanding of manufacturing excellence and experience in successful implementation of significant change management initiatives
">
- Excellent leadership skills
">
- Change management experience
">
- Good financial acumen
">
- Strong communication skills
">
Salary: Estimated €100,000 - €120,000 per annum
">
