We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand Campaign Manager to join our excellent marketing team.
As The Dean Group begins to move towards rapid international expansion, the ideal candidate will be experienced in a fast paced, scalable work load and happy to take on the challenges of a busy team in a time of massive and rapid growth.
LOCATION: This is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & PR, the Brand Campaign Manager will lead the planning and roll out of the Irish and international marketing strategies, owning, maintaining and protecting the brand positioning, creative identity and standards across all consumer platforms and touchpoints – keeping our brands at the forefront of innovation in the industry. The role will also directly manage a Graphic Designer and Marketing Executive to bring our brands and campaigns to life.
We’re looking for an agile thinker, an expert brand builder and a diligent project manager; someone who revels in the satisfaction of transforming an idea into a campaign and seeing the results. This is a senior appointment and will require experience in a similar role.
REPORTING TO: Director of Marketing & PR
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Management
* Working alongside the wider marketing and digital teams to deploy the annual campaigns plan, leading on timelines, deliverables, content, and deployment. Use insights and data to help build the best campaigns that will be creative and effective commercially.
* Responsible for planning the campaign strategy across all channels including website content, paid media, email newsletters and offline avenues such as activations and events, and ensuring all elements of the process are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
* Combining strategy, tactics, and creativity to target specific guest segments, length of stay profiles, seasonality and feeder markets.
* Adapt marketing activities for entry into new European markets at opening phase and through trading alongside local partners.
* Putting steps in place to ensure that the campaign process can be agile and responsive; that is quick to evolve and adapt to changing situations in Ireland, Germany and beyond.
Brand Management
* Observing The Dean Group’s and its respective stay brands’ identity, ensuring each campaign conveys a consistent brand message to bolster our market position.
* Ensure we have clear direction and toolkits on brand positioning and guest experience that can be easily interpreted and executed in all international markets and are consistently maintained.
* Act as a brand custodian for The Dean Group and be creative approver for the brand teams, ensuring identity, tone of voice and functionality are always the best they can possibly be.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Responsible for delivering and managing campaign briefs and overseeing deployment across all key channels to support all campaigns and promotions.
* Writing strategic copy for a range of campaign touchpoints, assuring it aligns with feedback from internal and external holders, whilst retaining each brand’s TOV.
* Overseeing external agencies where appropriate, brand partners and internal stakeholders (digital, operations, sales and revenue) to develop and deploy brand campaigns, marketing, and communications plan.
* Working alongside the Digital Content Manager to sense check all campaign content displays correctly and reads well before launch.
* Working alongside the Graphic Designer to build the brand asset library (spanning graphic design, video, photography, original copy) and to develop a strong and consistent brand narrative across all owned touchpoints.
* Lead on producing and art-directing all brand campaign shoots. Work with team members and on property teams to deliver assets as needed to accurately reflect the campaign objectives.
* Work alongside the Director of Marketing to deliver strategy decks and activation overviews to the wider business, including on property teams.
* Supporting the marketing team to measure and monitor the success of each campaign, understanding what we could do differently and adapting our campaigns accordingly.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* 5 years’ experience working in a similar role for a lifestyle brand (hospitality and global experience an advantage).
* Demonstrable knowledge of the digital landscape and execution of campaigns across all relevant channels.
* An adept project manager with demonstrable experience delivering end to end campaigns on time and on budget.
* Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and solve problems.
* Determination to deliver commercial results.
* A quick learner who can manage an ever-changing workload and several projects at once.
* Impeccable planning and organisation with exceptional attention to detail.
* Next-level communication and strong relationship building skills cross-functionally.
* Passionate team player who also has the initiative to work autonomously.
* Experience in marketing to European consumers is ideal but not necessary.
KNOWLEDGE
* Strong copywriting skills across all channels, with a basic understanding of how to implement SEO keywords and phrases.
* Basic understanding of Adobe Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Project management skills and knowledge of campaign tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, social media, excel.
