Software Manager Client Platform and Insights
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing engineering team that drives our client platform strategy forward. Your focus will be on cultivating a team culture that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence, ensuring that every team member has the support and resources to grow. By developing a cohesive strategy for our client platforms, you will empower the team to build scalable solutions that enhance our organization’s ability to integrate new capabilities at scale. This includes ensuring that our products leverage cutting-edge technologies and align with best practices, allowing us to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Your work will directly impact our ability to harness data and insights to make informed decisions across our products, enabling teams to create features that resonate with our customers' needs. By collaborating closely with cross-functional partners across our organization, you will ensure that our platform solutions are aligned with business goals and optimized for performance. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, allowing you to shape the technical vision while driving the execution of critical initiatives. The work you do will set the foundation for our organization's ability to use analytic insights to continuously refine our products, ultimately leading to more personalized and impactful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead & Develop Teams: Build, mentor, and manage a team of talented engineers across iOS, Android and Web platforms, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
* Drive Platform Excellence: Guide the team in defining and executing a technical roadmap for client platforms, ensuring delivery of high-quality, user-friendly products.
* Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with Product, UX, and Partner teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives, translating requirements into actionable technical strategies that scale across teams and customer segments.
* Innovate & Implement: Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and methodologies into our engineering practices, ensuring our platforms remain robust and scalable.
* Drive Performance & Quality: Advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and performance, ensuring the team builds scalable and maintainable solutions.
Qualifications:
* Experience: 3-5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong background in building and delivering products in at least one major platform (iOS, and Android preferred) using modern tech stacks (e.g. Swift, Kotlin, or modern web frameworks).
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, develop, and inspire a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Collaboration & Communication: Experience working cross-functionally with Product, UX, and other stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations, and deliver on project goals.
* Problem-Solver: Strategic thinker who can identify challenges and opportunities, implementing solutions that deliver measurable impact.
