We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the public sector for a Programme Executive to support the implementation of a national renewable energy consenting service. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Ireland's clean energy goals in a meaningful and impactful way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery and development of guidance for renewable energy project consenting.
- Manage an information service, providing timely and accurate responses to stakeholders.
- Lead communications efforts including website content and social media updates.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and government bodies.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, presentations, and public events.
Requirements:
- Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Engineering, Science, Environment, Sustainability, or Business.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
- Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Desirable:
- Experience in the public sector or working with regulatory/consenting processes.
- Familiarity with Ireland's renewable energy landscape or legal frameworks.
Role Details:
- Duration: 18-month contract
- Location: Dublin-based with blended working (minimum 2 days in office/week)
- Annual Leave: 29 days (plus public holidays)
