Role Overview:An experienced Site Manager is required to lead and manage on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a Site Manager or Site Foreman role, preferably with a background as a degree-qualified Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of on-site personnel, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
* Oversee site safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
* Read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings, ensuring accurate execution.
* Conduct progress meetings with stakeholders and provide regular updates to management.
* Monitor material usage and site logistics to minimise waste and optimise efficiency.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Site Manager or Site Foreman with a construction company.
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and health and safety regulations.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
