This is a country house hotel in Co Meath, known for its charm.
We are seeking an experienced Banqueting Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Weddings & Events department, ensuring that all events meet five-star hotel standards.
Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of quality and service at all times.
* Supervise, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
* Respond promptly and effectively to customer requests and complaints, focusing on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Ensure accurate cash and stock control procedures are in place at all times.
* Contribute to achieving revenue and cost targets within the department.
* Uphold the hotel's mission and core values at all times.
* Collaborate with the Sales department to maximize wedding and event sales opportunities.
* Adhere to HACCP and Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist with daily operations in the main hotel as required.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in a similar role, such as C&B Manager, Operations Manager, or Banqueting Manager, within a four/five-star hotel. They should possess full knowledge of banqueting operations procedures, including cash and stock control systems. The successful candidate will also demonstrate:
