Location: Co. Longford Contract:Fixed-Term (10 Months Approx - Maternity Cover) Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience Hours:Monday to Thursday (9:15 am 5:30 pm), Friday (9:15 am 4:30 pm), with flexibility for earlier start times if preferred.
On-Site Role: Fully based at our client's manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the sites General Manager with a dotted line to the Human Resource Director, the HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the human resource function including employee engagement, performance management and compliance.
Role: Advise and support the management team on HR issues and changes in employment law.
Lead the Annual Talent Cycle in partnership with Management Team, General Manager and HR Director.
Lead all recruitment activities to ensure the organisation attracts and retains the highest quality candidates across all departments.
Lead from a HR perspective and participate in a range of projects relating to the People Agenda.
Manage and Mentor the HR Team nurturing a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Provide assistance and guidance to Managers and Supervisors on employee relation matters including disciplinary action, performance management and conflict resolution.
Point of contact between Occupational Health Provider and Site Management/Supervisors while proactive managing all Long-Term Sick and Repeat Absence cases with Line Manager.
Manage compliance in relation to the Working Time Directive.
Ensure all employee files and records are kept up to date in line with legislation.
Proactive Management of IR and ER Issues.
Liaise with Trade Union.
Lead the annual employee engagement survey and interpret results to management team.
Lead the employee wellbeing strategy on site.

Requirements: 3 years experience in a HR Management Role.
A pragmatic attitude and highly professional approach.
Strong understanding of employment law and legislation.
Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Decisive planner and communicator who can quickly adapt when required and has the ability to communicate with all levels within the business.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced organisation.
Confidence to challenge respectfully to influence business decisions.
Passionate about people and engagement.
Ability to work flexibly and under own initiative.
