Job Title: Application Support Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems that support business processes globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform proactive application health checks to prevent potential failures
* Manage incidents through to completion
* Engage with various IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant industry experience
* At least 5 years of prior experience as an IT Support Analyst or having a development background in Investment banking
* Strong Unix/Linux experience
* Solid infrastructure understanding
* Experience in writing SQL on DB2, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
* Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
* Experience in Regulatory and Banking Operations technologies
* Able to demonstrate effective engagement with technology partners in resolving issues
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in a lead role
* Experience in scripting, automation, and process improvement
* Knowledge of financial securities
