Guiney's are seeking to hire an experienced Sales Assistant for our MULLINGAR store.
Sales Assistants report to the store manager and work as part of a cohesive team to achieve maximum sales through the delivery of excellent customer service.
Core responsibilities for this role include:
1. Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times.
2. Manage point of sale processes, including cash, card & credit transactions.
3. Deal with and rectify customer complaints in an effective and pleasant manner.
4. Adhere to policies and procedures for the security of cash and merchandise.
5. Participate in regular stock taking.
6. Ensure store is merchandised in a customer friendly and competitive manner ensuring compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
7. Maintain housekeeping in the store at an optimum level.
8. Ensure adherence to cash register and cash handling policy.
9. Follow all company policies & procedures, Health & Safety procedures and report any hazards to the Store Management.

5. Computer literate.
