Due to the sustained growth and expansion of the business, DSW are now looking to welcome a Junior Customer Accounts Manager to the head office team, to assist in the processing and maintenance of customer accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
The Junior Customer Accounts Manager is responsible for the processing and development of customer accounts within DSW limited. After a period of training, the Junior Customer Accounts Manager will have specific accounts assigned to them and will be responsible for implementing the day to day management of works for these accounts and liaising directly with the customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Daily customer communications via email and telephone
2. Receiving and processing purchase orders for works
3. Liaising with Field Account Managers and Service Managers to book engineering works and ensure the customer is kept up to date with all communications
4. Following the DSW sales to works process, with a keen eye for detail, to ensure works are completed fully and to the highest standard.
5. Following up works with relevant documentation and reports
6. Compiling and monitoring quotes for various works as required, in conjunction with Field Account Managers
7. Ensuring customer trackers and databases are kept up to date and accurate at all times, including samples, contracts, quotes, contacts etc.
8. Setting up and managing customer contracts in conjunction with Field Account Managers
9. Developing customer relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring high standards of customer service and support are maintained at all times
10. Working closely with engineering and management teams
11. Maintaining customer folders, accurate filing and reporting, general administration tasks.
12. Providing support to senior management with regards to reporting, status updates, feedback on process efficiency and ad hoc tasks as required
13. Assisting the senior customer accounts team with organizing deliveries and parts for jobs.
Following successful completion of training and successfully passing probation, the Junior Customer Accounts Manager can be promoted to a full Customer Accounts Manager which would see a salary increase of £3000 - £4000.
Personal Specification
1. Basic GCSE Grade A-C/Level 4+ in Maths and English.
2. Organized and methodical
3. Possess the ability to work towards individual & departmental KPIs and/or targets
4. Confident with Microsoft packages, including basic understanding of word, excel and outlook.
5. Strong communication skills & professional telephone manner
6. Excellent time management skills, being able to work quickly, accurately and within tight deadlines
7. A Keen eye for detail allowing for the prioritization of tasks efficiently
8. Effective, reliable team player who exhibits a proactive “can do” attitude
9. Shows initiative & demonstratable ability to problem solve
10. Prior experience in a customer facing role and/or in maintaining customer accounts/contracts is highly desirable
The role will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8am-4pm
1. £26,000 per year
2. Holiday- Generous 5-week holiday allowance pro-rata plus bank holidays
3. Company Pension scheme included in employment package.
4. Working location: within a small friendly team in the DSW Head office in Lingfield, Surrey.
