They supply to the Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, Beverage & Food markets.
With 1500 employees worldwide, their international Headquarters is based in Paris, they have production facilities in Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Canada, Brazil and China with sales offices in most European countries.
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join the team of 30 in Dublin, where managed is manufacture, customer services and administration for the Ireland, UK and Nordic sales teams.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Group CFO in our Paris HQ, this is a senior management role in which you are responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations within the organisation.
The position is site based and normal office hours apply.
However, there may be occasions where the work will fall outside of normal hours and candidates should be flexible in their attitude.
The Key Responsibilities for the Role Are Managing the Companies Finance Function 1.
Financial Management and Reporting Oversee the overall financial management of the organization.
Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
Ensure the preparation and presentation of monthly and annual financial reports.
Prepare financial analyses to support management decision-making.
Ensure Auditor liaison and year end Audits Liaison with Head Office France.

Cost Control and Performance Management Perform manufacturing cost controlling Perform cost analyses and identify improvement opportunities.
Evaluate variances between actual performance and planned budgets.

Accounting Oversight Ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Manage Invoicing / Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Ensure compliance with VAT/Tax/Insurance and regulatory/Statutory obligations.

Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow management & Company Treasury.
Manage banking relationships.
Optimize investments and treasury-related costs.
5.
Payroll Management Oversee the payroll process.
6.
Project Management & Hr -drafting contracts, liaising with staff, assisting with recruitment for Dublin staff, monitoring holidays Experience and Skills required Applicants must hold a third level degree in Accounting or Finance.
Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification work experience in a similar position or in a public accounting firm.
Strong IT skills with Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SAP an advantage.
Detail Orientated and able to work under pressure.
Ability to work on ones own initiative with excellent time and priority management skills.
Good communication, personnel management and strategic decision making skills.
