Project Developer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

TGRC is currently working with a Global Renewable developer who are looking for a development professional to join their Irish office.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of the development of large multi-contract SolarPV renewable energy projects from green-field sites through to commercial operation.
2. Management of the tender/negotiation process for the procurement of professional services, equipment supplies and works contracts required for project delivery.
3. Supporting the company’s Renewables Land Management Team in the implementation, acquisition, and control of project development, design and construction for renewable energy projects.
4. Supporting The companies’ Renewables legal department in ensuring document assurance, particularly for land agreements.
5. Manage and coordinate project specific engagements with project’s stakeholders, organising project messaging and in-person consultation events, regular communication with community stakeholders and the wider design team.
6. Liaise with Transmission System Operator/ Distribution System Operator (TSO/DSO) about the grid connection process.
7. Manage the interactions with all projects statutory and non-statutory consultees to develop best in class renewable projects.
8. Management of the project specific elements of the companies’ Renewables Programming department.
9. Management of subcontractor programmes to ensure project works are progressed on schedule, project milestones are achieved, and critical wider industry milestones are met.
10. Implement industry best practice in project controls, project reporting and performance management.
11. Coordinating project reporting and data presentation for senior management.
12. Robust management of each project’s suite of PMO documents and process’ including individual project schedules, budgets, reporting as well as stakeholder and risk registers.
13. Assist the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on budget and to the required quality standards whilst keeping in line with wider business metrics.
Experience:
14. Degree Qualified - A related Engineering/Construction/Environmental/Planning qualification
15. A min or 2-3 years planning experience in an Irish context on industrial Solar development
16. Experience with PVCad Solar Array drafting and PVSyst principle
17. Experience with GIS/shapefiles and/Auto Cad is desirable
18. Experience liaising with local authorities and the consenting authority on all project planning issues
19. Cost, revenue and cash flow management.
20. Experience managing and leading teams across all aspects of project development as well as multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
