Job Title: HSEQ Manager
About the Role
Vickerstock is working in partnership with an environmental services firm to appoint an experienced HSEQ professional.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Health and Safety function and enforce Safe Working Practices across the company, including Fleet, Plant, and Equipment compliance.
* Develop and update company policies and procedures aligned with the Information Management System.
* Review and update Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, and the Safety Statement.
* Chair or attend internal and external HSEQ meetings.
* Investigate, document, and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses promptly, ensuring timely corrective actions and follow-ups.
Requirements
* 2+ years' experience within a similar H&S management role.
* Relevant Health and Safety qualifications.
* Experience with ISO standards and auditing.
* People management skills.
* Experience with report writing.
* Good communication skills.
* IT and numeracy skills (MS Office).
Desirable Skills
* Experience within the Environmental, Construction or Utilities industries.
* IOSH Membership.
* NEBOSH Diploma.
