Position Description
What You'll Do
Review and process Defect Notifications (DNs) in both EOH and CR until resolution.
Advise and provide instructions in response to technical assistance requests raised by production departments, including but not limited to raising service requests (SRs) and departure records (DRs).
Develop GE90-100 engine overhaul work processes, define engine repair work scope with customers and OEM, and review the OEM technical documents to ensure compliance with customized requirements and specifications.
Prepare and issue Technical Service Instructions (TSI) & Local Manual Revisions (LMR) to support maintenance activities.
Investigate and assess component or process failures, providing support for troubleshooting during or after engine tests.
Coordinate with GE to make manual changes for repeating DR/SR data.
Create and develop work scopes for new engine types & Time and Material (T&M) engines.
Lead and promote BI projects from identifying core concepts to project implementation, liaising with different departments to seek business improvement opportunities across the company.
Provide proficient knowledge in your area of interest, specializing in Engine technical & system knowledge.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree, background in Mechanical Engineering.
CAAC Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License with Aviation Technical English Level 4 is essential.
Well-versed in Aero Engine structure and systems.
A minimum of five years working experience in the civil aviation or powerplant industry, including at least two years in Technical/Engineering Services department.
Good knowledge of airworthiness regulations, especially CCAR 145.
Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
