Job Title: Engineering Manager QA/SDET
About the Job:
We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead our team of skilled engineers in developing and implementing innovative solutions for our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, test automation, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solution Development: Lead the development of innovative solutions to enhance our product and development experience.
* Team Growth and Management: Manage the career growth of team members, scale hiring and development processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
* Strategic Partnership: Partner with product teams to brainstorm ideas and collaborate on delivering an exceptional product.
* Technical Direction: Provide technical guidance by actively participating in architectural discussions, developing code, and advocating for new process improvements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Demonstrated experience as a Lead QA Engineer, preferably in a test automation or SDET role
* Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., pytest, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
* Knowledge of performance testing tools such as k6 and experience in performance testing
* Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Golang)
Preferred Requirements:
* Knowledge of performance testing and security testing tools
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
* Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment and managing scalable services
