The Role
Origina is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Systems Engineer. In this role, you will work with the entire Microsoft Ecosystem, from infrastructure to security. You will have the opportunity to bring new ideas to life, seeing them through from concept to implementation. This position requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the security and efficiency of our IT systems. You will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting security systems, supporting IT and security operations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with IT and Information Security teams to manage IT & Security issues
Configure and troubleshoot security systems (Microsoft Security Stack/Azure)
Create/update technical instructions and support infrastructure/helpdesk teams
Support Zero-trust project & operations for endpoint device management
Manage Email and Directory Services security systems
Troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues
Ensure IT tickets are resolved per SLAs
Manage Microsoft 365 suite (Email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Oversee Windows servers & network in Azure
Facilitate smooth on/offboarding with HR
Handle IT hardware upgrades/refreshes in Dublin
Maintain IT inventory and asset lists
Identify IT improvement opportunities
Assist with security incidents, reports, audits and questionnaires
About you
Successful candidates will possess
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or industry certifications like Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA
ITIL Foundation certificate (advantageous)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proven experience working as an IT Administrator in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience with Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop
First- & second-line support experience (in-person and remote)
Strong knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration
Familiarity with IT infrastructure and operations best practices
Collaborative mindset with quick learning ability
Up-to-date knowledge of IT security
