Electrical Utilities Engineer
The Electrical Utilities Engineer will support the site services team in the turnover/commissioning of projects, reporting to the Site Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct walk-downs with project teams and generate punch-lists as required.
* Manage punch-lists and oversee close-out of raised punches.
* Review documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
* Liaise with project system owners as needed.
* Assist with commissioning and supporting system integration.
* Develop project plans and qualification strategies in line with site requirements.
* Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicating any shortfalls and identifying solutions where necessary.
Ideal Background:
An Electrical Engineering degree is desired but not essential. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in engineering or a related discipline, including project management, and hold an electrical trade qualification (QQI Level 6) or equivalent.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of site electrical infrastructure, substations, electrical distribution, PLCs, electrical drawings, and P&IDs.
* Proficiency in using IT applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
