We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Engineer/Inspection Manager to support our clients, a multinational company based in Nass, County Kildare. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, we require an individual with extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with engineering suppliers and managing a supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysing and optimising the Supply Chain.
* Material planning.
* Purchasing materials, subcontractors, and services, and ensuring timely follow-up.
* Administering all relevant processes, including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, etc.
* Liaising with suppliers and visiting their facilities as necessary.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Processing complaints.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in an engineering company.
* A recognised qualification in a related field.
* Experience working in engineering/manufacturing environments is highly valued.
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial formulae.
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system.
Salary:
The salary is open to negotiation and will be dependent on experience, but is expected to be in the region of €50,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package, including a company vehicle, medical and life insurance, phone, and laptop.
