Fexco Drive Technology are currently recruiting for an
ITVendor Manager to join their team. This role is a permanent, full-time position with the opportunity to work from our offices based in Killorglin, Co. Kerry with flexibility to work a hybrid model.
Job Summary:
The
ITVendor Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of
ITvendors and suppliers. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and driving cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key
ITvendors and service providers. Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting appropriate
ITvendors based on business needs, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate, review, and manage
ITcontracts ensuring favourable terms and conditions. Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular vendor reviews and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor representatives at various levels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand
ITrequirements and align them with vendor capabilities. Address and resolve vendor disputes and issues promptly and effectively.
Cost Management:
Analyse vendor pricing and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Negotiate favourable pricing terms and conditions. Track and manage vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks associated with vendor relationships. Ensure that all vendor activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies. Monitor and report on vendor risk in line with internal risk framework.
Vendor Performance Improvement:
Work with vendors to identify and address performance gaps. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor performance.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and legal teams, to align vendor management activities with business objectives, deliver effective reporting and ensure compliance with internal service level agreements
Required Qualifications and
Skills:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in
ITvendor management or a similar role. Strong understanding of
ITtechnologies, systems, and processes. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a specific industry or vertical. Knowledge of vendor management best practices and methodologies.
