Supply Chain Planner
The Supply Chain team for this client aims to build a simple, agile, and scalable end-to-end supply chain operation to ensure continuous supply to our channels with optimum levels of inventory.
About the Role
This role will support the Supply Chain and Product Manager in daily supply chain operations as well as designing, documenting, and implementing new solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Analysis and Planning: Coordination with major suppliers, customers, and internal customer account managers.
* Supporting the development and reporting of performance metrics, root cause analysis, executive updates, actions needed, and opportunities.
* Daily planning around product shipments using M3 along with EPOS and stock counts from customers to ensure all KPI metrics are hit weekly.
* Stock purchasing and reporting internally and externally.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or Engineering, or a Postgraduate Degree or Masters.
* 3+ years' experience in supply chain related functions, ideally including 1-2 years in a similar Supply Chain Planner role.
* Strong MS Excel and ERP system experience.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and excellent organisational, analytical, and time management skills.
We are looking for someone with:
* Understanding of all end-to-end supply chain functions and how they interact.
* Evaluating and operating integrated Supply Chain systems (ERPs/MRP/S&OP) against business requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail, superior planning, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong commercial orientation and ability to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
* Self-motivation, drive, enthusiasm, and commitment.
* Ability to think creatively and generate solutions.
* Knowledge of and interest in the telecoms sector.
Salary Range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum
Depending on experience.
