Responsibilities for this Retail Manager Job: Support retailers to achieve sales and profit targets Provide a high level of customer service while on duty, and ensure your teams are trained to offer the same level of service. Ensure you and the team abide by all company policies and procedures. Manage stock and cash control procedures investigate and report when variances occur. Being creative and innovative by studying and implementing advertising, sales promotion, and display plans. Managing all controllable costs to keep operations profitable. Maintaining store staff by recruiting, selecting, and training new staff, in conjunction with the HR department. Organizing special promotions, displays and events. Dealing with customer queries and complaints as per the company policies. Requirements for this Retail Assistant Manager Job: 3+ years of retail management experience, ideally within an environment with fresh foods, and good merchandising standards. Some experience using Retail IT systems to understand stock and sales trends People skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. The ability to work in high-pressure situations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a high level of confidence. A strong work ethic.
