Job Opportunity:
PIC Social Care Management - Disability Residential Service
We are seeking a dedicated Social Care Manager to lead our team in Co. Cork, where we provide comprehensive care for individuals in a disability residential service.
The Person in Charge (PIC) will demonstrate great knowledge and understanding of the below areas:
Governance and Leadership
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework in Social Care Studies, Social Care Management or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care. A post graduate qualification in Social Care Management or Management Qualification is also desirable.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years senior supervisory/management experience at a similar level of responsibility including demonstrative experience strategic planning
* At least 5 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector
* Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability for the proper discharge of the duties of office)
* Excellent understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
* Worked with vulnerable adults or children in an environment that promotes their rights, safety and well being
* Full clean driving licence
* Experience in leading a team
* Aware of legal and regulatory duties, familiar with your new company's policies, and attend meetings and training as required
* Support and promote best practices in record-keeping in line with Data Protection guidelines
