Overview
The company seeks an ambitious and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to support the Financial Controller in managing daily accounting tasks.
* Handle payments, refunds, and credit control, including cash, bank, and credit card transactions.
* Prepare and balance cash books, bank lodgements, and petty cash.
* Follow up on aged debtors and manage financial reporting for new business, renewals, and lapses.
* Support month-end account reconciliations with the Financial Controller.
* General office administration, including filing, data entry, and responding to staff and insurer queries.
Requirements
* Experience in accounts or insurance brokerage (preferred but not essential).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
