We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support the team responsible for executing ownership interests in the Irish operating portfolio.
The role will assist in market optimisation, asset risk management, and ensure portfolio compliance with relevant legislation and best practices across projects owned and operated by the organization.
This position is ideal for individuals with a background in business or engineering, with a preference for working on operational projects in the power generation sector.
A higher education in engineering and/or business, preferably at the Master's level, is required.
While the role will primarily support the Irish business, the candidate will also be expected to assist the broader team covering both Irish and UK markets.
We are looking for a self-starter who can develop and grow alongside a rapidly expanding portfolio.
Responsibilities: Support the Asset Manager with maintaining in-depth knowledge of market access options and contracts for the operating portfolio.
Assist in translating electricity price forecasts (and other ancillary service forecasts) into asset business plans.
Monitor asset performance under market access agreements and assess regulatory risks by conducting impact assessments.
Extract operational and financial performance data from digital dashboards and summarize key findings.
Assist with warranty contract management and claims-related matters.
Occasionally collaborate with finance and operational teams to develop risk management, performance, and cost monitoring systems.
Develop and maintain OPEX assumptions for the portfolio and serve as the main point of contact with corporate teams.
Work with internal stakeholders to oversee the pipeline of projects being onboarded into the portfolio.
Engage occasionally with external stakeholders, such as landowners, OEMs, and regulatory bodies.
Support the preparation of due diligence processes during relevant M&A transactions.
Review and analyze trends from internal asset reports to communicate key changes in the portfolio.
Assist in preparing and participating in quarterly Operational Committees.
Qualifications: Relevant higher education in engineering and/or business, preferably at the Master's level.
Ability to work independently with a continuous improvement mindset; solution-oriented.
Focus on optimizing operational and financial performance, with the ability to identify issues, analyze them, and communicate solutions.
Insight into energy systems (both technical and commercial) is an advantage and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world situations.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
High personal integrity and commitment to ethical standards, with a strong understanding of HSSE principles.
Commercially and analytically minded.
Understanding of the organization's distributed model and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across regions.
Strong passion for developing new wind, grid, and solar businesses.
