To oversee the efficient and safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and to work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure standardise processes are continuous improved and executed. Alongside this, the successful candidate will take an active role in the smooth running and organisation of the warehouse and stock.
The candidate should be well-organised, motivated and an excellent multi-tasker. This is a position which involves fundamental aspects of the business, including stock management, time management and following service and company standards and would suit a candidate with previous experience within operations. The successful candidate must be capable of contributing to the continual development and improvement to the goods in and out area and stock system.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee the efficient and safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels and work closely with our Stock Controller to manage effective inventory checks.
* Batch Management: Ensure batches are managed in line with company guidelines, including stock rotation that considers batch control.
* Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
* Logistics Co-ordination: Plan and manage accurate locations and the movement of goods in line with stock rotation, batches and sell-by-dates.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement processes to increase warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
To be successful in this role, you need:
Previous Experience:
* Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, ideally in a similar industry.
* Skills: Strong evidence of organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and general IT tools (Excel, ERP systems).
* Knowledge: A solid understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
* Certifications: Counterbalance Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain it immediately at the start of the role) is essential, and health and safety training and First Aid in the Workplace qualifications are desirable certificates.
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week - 9am-5pm, with an attractive salary of up to €38,000 per annum.
