Apprenticeship role On the job experience across a variety of technologies and classroom learning as part of the Higher Cert in Engineering in Telecommunications and Data Network Engineering (Level 6) Apprenticeship Programme, in partnership with Tallaght University.
No qualification or experience needed; full training provided.
Responsibilities:
Delivery and install communications equipment Install of Cat6, Cat6A, Fibre & Voice Cable Terminate & Testing of all cable types Fiber Patching & Testing/Troubleshooting (OTDR - OLTS) Installing communications cabinets/racks Completing work sheets & reports, relevant to job completion.
Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines, method statements and risk assessments Requirements: Current drivers' license, or working towards passing your driving test Willingness to travel nationwide - Overnights will be required Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Adherence to company standards and operating practices always Teamwork - Be an active member of the Surecom Team
