Overview: Aran Sweater Market and Weavers of Ireland are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Junior Website & IT Support Coordinator to join the team on a 6-month contract.
This is a varied and fast-paced role based on-site in Killarney, combining responsibilities across web platform support, IT asset management, and systems documentation.
The successful candidate will be involved in a major platform migration, day to day website maintenance, and the development of key IT infrastructure and documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Website Support & Maintenance Assist with the migration of from BigCommerce to Shopify, including product set-up, collection creation, and content transfer.
Maintain and update the website (hosted on BigCommerce), including updating product imagery, descriptions, and URL aliases.
Conduct basic quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, mobile responsiveness, and consistent layout.
Support the eCommerce and marketing teams with landing page updates and content rollouts.
IT & Systems Support Support the build and population of an Asset Management Database, ensuring all company hardware is logged and tracked.
Install monitoring agents on all laptops and desktops across the organisation.
Physically label and catalogue all devices including phones, monitors, switches, routers, printers, and other IT hardware.
Assist with the development of a Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform, which will be used to manage company devices including scanners.
Help document new platforms, work processes, and IT setup procedures.
Contribute to the creation of internal training documentation to support onboarding and system adoption.
General Support Support the Marketing Team and IT Project Manager with administrative and technical tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to flag issues and ensure smooth delivery of tasks.
Maintain clear records and logs of work completed, particularly in relation to device tracking and content updates.
Skills & Experience Required: Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify and/or BigCommerce ideal).
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with website content updates.
Strong interest or background in IT support, hardware setup, and asset management.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Clear written communication skills, particularly for documentation and training guides.
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working across a range of tasks.
