We are looking for an individual with a flair in exceeding guests' expectations to join our Night Team.
The right candidate will represent the Hotel throughout all stages of the guest’s stay in particular during the night, ensuring that guests are welcomed positively and all needs are catered for. The Night Team is also responsible for the security of the Hotel overnight.
Responsibilities
1. To offer a friendly, efficient, warm and welcoming reception to our guests.
2. To follow the hotel standard on check-in and check-out procedures.
3. To assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the front desk.
4. To work well under own initiative and as part of a team.
5. To communicate hotel services to guests and to offer assistance as required.
6. Ensure an efficient and friendly telephone service to guests at all times.
7. Carry out cleaning duties.
8. Provide early breakfast.
9. Carry out nightly security checks.
10. Provide tourist and other local information to guests.
The ideal candidate will
1. Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
2. Be a team player.
3. Have knowledge of cash procedures and balance of payments on front office system.
4. Have excellent attention to detail.
5. Have previous hotel security experience.
6. Have experience with food and beverage systems in hotels.
7. Have a clean driver’s license.
8. Opera experience desirable but not essential.
9. Experience working nights desirable.
Skills
