We are hiring a Senior Cardiac Physiologist into a Private Hospital in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
* The senior cardiac physiologist ought to be knowledgeable about the methods and variety of tools utilised in modern medicine for patient diagnosis, care, and treatment.
* ECG, Holter/BP monitoring, stress ECG, tilt table testing, pacemaker and ICD implants, follow-up and programming, EP studies, angiography, and angioplasty procedures are just a few of the non-invasive and invasive cardiac diagnostic tests that they train, oversee, and do.
* Must have a solid understanding of cardiac diagnostic techniques, such as electrophysiology studies.
* It is crucial to have a thorough comprehension of all such operations and the capacity to take precise measurements.
* The capacity to discuss patients' requirements with consultants, general practitioners, and hospital employees in an efficient manner.
* Guarantees that patient procedures are produced and delivered on schedule.
* keeps the necessary departmental documentation.rectifies past-due medical records.
* Upholds infection control protocols to safeguard employees and patients.
* Keeps a safe workplace in place.
* Helps with the evaluation of all cardiac physiologists and provides training to new hires.
* Keeps all interactions with hospital departments polite and professional.
* Assesses equipment and offers recommendations for its purchase, use, or renting.
* Maintains current knowledge and comprehension of any new advancements in cardiology.
* A senior cardiac physiologist's training and knowledge must be updated as new advancements and changes in medical practices occur. Where feasible, study leave for suitable in-service training will be encouraged.
* Understand and respect the department's electrical safety regulations
Requirements
* Medical physics and physiological measurement certificate (Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street, Dublin) or bachelor's degree in clinical measurement, or an equivalent.
* Associates of the Society for Cardiological Science and Technology (UK) (A.S.C.S.T.) or a similar title.
* In the future, try to take the IBHRE/BHRS exam.
* Possess at least three years of post-qualification experience working in a cardiac department, including cardiac pacing and cardiac catheterisation laboratory experience.
* Electrophysiology experience is preferred.
* Have access to Advanced Life Support.
* Strong general understanding of cardiology
