The broad remit of responsibilities include:
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Ensure the drivers complete their allocated work, and they call in issues for the controller to resolve.
2. Ensure all vehicles are compliant with agreed service & DOE requirements.
3. Ensure the daily roster is followed, and drivers have fully working equipment (tablet chargers etc).
4. Continually in contact with drivers to get updates on work.
5. Use camera system and telematics to monitor drivers and check when drivers claim no access or bin not out.
6. Deal with queries from Customer Care, and queries escalated through the Sales Team and management.
7. Communicate with drivers and ensure they know their working days/hours and what is required of them.
Qualifications
1. Excellent Time Management.
2. Excellent Attention to Detail.
3. Ability to manage in high pressurized situations.
4. Ability to use company systems (Weighsoft; telematics; Camera Systems; and Microsoft Office Products).
5. Be personable and approachable for all staff (transport team & other departments).
6. Provide excellent customer relationship management.
7. Understand legal requirements for Working Time Directive, RSA driving hours, Licensing and Health & Safety rules.
8. Be flexible and prepared to work extra hours when required to ensure no failures of service.
9. Be prepared to work Saturdays; Time in Lieu will be provided.
