Job Summary
The CSR Group is seeking a Site Manager to oversee renewable, electrical infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Ideal candidates will have experience in construction involving earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete construction, building work, ground works, and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and manage the construction process, supervising all activity on-site.
* Supervise and oversee project direction, ensuring programmes are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
* Order equipment and materials, managing their use and personnel involved.
* Collaborate with specialists such as engineers, contractors, and clients.
* Comply with legal requirements, safety protocols, and designs, keeping daily records and diaries.
* Instruct labourers and sub-contractors.
* Enforce safety procedures, minimising risk, ensuring personal protective clothing and safety equipment usage.
* Conduct safety inspections to ensure construction and site safety.
* Maintain quality control procedures.
* Attend weekly and monthly meetings as required.
Requirements
* A full and current driving license.
* 5+ years of experience in general construction or civil engineering construction management.
* Construction degree or trade background preferred.
* Demonstrable track record of successful planning, executing, and delivering construction projects on time.
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* Current CSR Card.
* Working knowledge of industry practice and H&S legislation, including risk assessment management.
Work Location
This role primarily covers works in Northern Ireland, with occasional travel and overnight stays to various site locations throughout Ireland.
