Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect and Threat Analyst to join our Information Security team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement security controls and architectures to protect organisational assets (on premise and cloud).
* Assess and mitigate security risks, identifying potential vulnerabilities in An Post systems and suggesting mitigants to risk.
* Evaluate emerging security tools and technologies to improve the organisation's security posture.
* Provide security guidance to stakeholders (both business and technical) and work closely with IT teams and vendors to integrate security solutions across the organisation.
* Work with third-party vendors to coordinate penetration testing activities and ensure findings are addressed.
* Regularly review and improve security architecture to adapt to evolving threats and technologies.
* Offer escalated assistance to security operations in response to complex or unusual incidents.
* Assist in preparing and conducting security audits by providing vital documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
* Assess the potential impact of threats on the organization's critical assets and systems.
* Conduct threat modelling exercises to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize mitigation efforts.
* Conduct analysis of threat intelligence data from various sources.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in information security architecture, with expertise in Threat Intelligence considered advantageous.
* Degree in Information Security, or related field and relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, ISSAP, CEH, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT are also a distinct advantage.
* Solid understanding of new and emerging technologies, and a desire to continue learning and upskilling.
* Preferred experience working in Financial Services is desirable.
