Steel Erector Role
Lmh Engineering Ltd is one of Ireland's leading Mechanical and Structural Engineering companies, situated in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
We require Steel Erectors for our site teams in Ireland, UK, and Europe. This role involves traveling overseas to various sites and being responsible for the safe and efficient erection of steel structures.
You will work as part of a team but must also be self-motivated and able to work independently when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
* Erect steel structures according to project plans.
* Maintain high standards of safety and quality.
* Use cranes, hoists, and other equipment to lift and position steel components.
* Bolt, weld, or rivet steel pieces together using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Conduct inspections to ensure all connections are secure and meet quality standards.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals, including engineers and project managers.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the erection of steel structures.
Requirements:
* Safe Pass & Manual Handling - IRE (or equivalent - UK/EUROPE).
* Communicative level of English.
* Previous experience as a steel erector - at least two years.
* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
* Will to travel to various sites when required - Ireland, UK, and Europe.

Job Requirements
* Steel Erector experience: 2 years.
* Working at Heights experience: 1 year.
* Safepass & Manual Handling certification.
