Job DescriptionJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead the site IT function to align with site, business, and corporate IT strategies.Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures across IT infrastructure, associated facilities, and office areas. Maintain adherence to ISO14001, 45001, and 50001 standards.Actively participate in site EHS operations through Gemba walks, incident investigations, and action planning.Develop and maintain the site IT strategy for infrastructure, applications, communication, and compliance in collaboration with corporate IT and site leadership.Provide leadership on IT policies, procedures, and standards, incorporating technology innovations and compliance requirements.Manage and enhance IT infrastructure, computing, and communication systems to support operational needs.Oversee IT functions to maximize system uptime and ensure seamless business execution.Ensure compliance with the organization's quality system, including IT deliverables, deviation management, and site change control procedures.Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure third-party service providers comply with regulatory requirements and quality agreements.Maintain IT systems, processes, and documentation in an 'audit-ready' state for successful regulatory inspections (e.g., HPRA, FDA).Support internal and external audits related to IT infrastructure and compliance.IT Infrastructure & System ManagementLead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of site IT infrastructure, including:Physical and virtual server hardware, operating systems, and communication networks.Datacenter management at site locations.Enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, storage networking).Database systems (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle).Business and process applications supporting core business functions.Maintain an accurate inventory of IT infrastructure, hardware, and user devices.Ensure physical security of IT hardware and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.Manage IT documentation, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.Define installation standards for IT hardware and cabling systems.Oversee version control and lifecycle management for infrastructure, databases, and applications to ensure operational stability.IT Operations & Service ManagementOversee IT Help Desk operations to ensure efficient resolution of user incidents and minimize downtime.Manage enterprise data backup and recovery processes, ensuring compliance with policies and documentation standards.Administer key business, manufacturing, and quality control applications, including user access, configuration, and maintenance.Lead IT projects in alignment with corporate and site strategies, ensuring clear scope, funding approvals, and timely execution.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders on project progress and system deployments.Support business application go-live activities to ensure smooth implementation and issue resolution.Continuous Improvement & ComplianceFoster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the IT function.Implement structured reporting models, such as daily/weekly QDCP cascades, to optimize functional delivery.Ensure full compliance with SOX regulations related to IT procurement, payments, and transactions.Develop and implement training plans to enhance team competencies and cross-functional capabilities.Encourage professional development opportunities to strengthen technical, project, and leadership skills.Drive IT engagement initiatives, ensuring open communication through team meetings, one-on-ones, and proactive site visits.Actively participate in site leadership activities, governance processes, and strategic policy development.Additional ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned as required by the Head of Department or an authorized delegate.In the absence of the IT Site Lead, the designated IT Analyst will assume day-to-day responsibilities.
