Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:
* Manage your own portfolio of existing and new local and national accounts in the MICE market.
* Identify and develop new business in the corporate & MICE market from corporate clients.
* Participate and support hotel Sales teams with customer visits, site inspections, and large-scale events.
* Oversee contract negotiations and ensure all event details meet client expectations and hotel standards.
* Create Sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them in line with the hotel's goals.
* Support the Sales team by providing guidance and training to achieve departmental objectives.
* Participate in weekly executive meetings to align sales strategies.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
* Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records of sales activities and client information.
* Work closely with the various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless guest experiences.
* Represent the brand while attending networking & industry events to build strong connections with potential clients.
* Attend training courses/seminars as required.
* Maintain strict confidentiality in line with the company General Data Protection Regulation Policy and Confidentiality Agreement.

* Sales & Negotiation: Strong ability to drive sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.
* Customer Relationship Management: Skilled in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
* Revenue Management: Ability to analyse market trends and competitor data to optimize pricing and maximize revenue.
* Communication and Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations and reports.
Requirements for the role:
* At least 2 years proactive hotel sales experience, preferably in hotel proactive MICE Sales.
* Highly motivated, energetic, and ready to go the extra mile.
* A strong track record of driving revenue and achieving targets.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to articulate and present ideas effectively.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
