This role is responsible for ensuring all courses are produced and delivered on time, error-free, and to the highest production standards. The role involves managing production resources across multiple projects, optimising workflows, and identifying innovative approaches to improve pace, cost, and quality. A key focus will be leveraging technologies such as AI to enhance production processes while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight and Delivery: Own the end-to-end delivery of all DBS course content, ensuring it is produced on time, error-free, and meets quality standards. Manage production schedules, tracking progress and resolving any bottlenecks to maintain on-time delivery. Establish and monitor KPIs for production quality, timeliness, and cost-efficiency. Team Leadership & Development: Provide line management for the production team, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development support. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. • Support team members in resolving challenges and ensuring clarity on priorities and processes. Process Optimisation: Drive improvements in production workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure seamless coordination across projects.Identify and implement innovative technologies, including AI, to optimise production pace, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards. Collaborate with the Learning Design Lead to align production processes with the content development pipeline. Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager and Learning Design Lead to allocate production resources effectively and meet institutional goals. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions between content development, production, and delivery. Act as the primary contact for external vendors or partners involved in production. Quality Assurance & Innovation: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure all content meets institutional standards and learner expectations. Lead initiatives to adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve production outcomes. Champion the use of AI and other advanced technologies to deliver high-impact results. Performance Management and Reporting Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency, ensuring alignment with DBS Creative Studios' strategic goals. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on production performance, resource utilisation, and project outcomes. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and support the team in achieving optimal production standards. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a production leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering error-free, high-quality projects on time and within budget. Expertise in resource management, workflow optimisation, and quality assurance processes. • Experience implementing innovative technologies, including AI, to drive production efficiencies and improve outcomes. Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
