Our Client is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to support business growth. The role will be based on prominent client sites in the Cork/Limerick areas. The successful candidate will provide support to the existing site team and report to company directors.
The Role/Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any specialist subcontractors.
* Plan, develop and organize the construction project and formulate the most cost-effective method to timely completion within budget.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
* Maintain close contact with site personnel ensuring that all access, information and materials are available to ensure productive work.
* Scope of Work in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
* Monitor and report to site management team any project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
* Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented.
* Monitor construction and schedule performance.
* Adhere to Weltec Safety, EHS and Quality Standards in line with relevant policies and procedures.
* Manage Site Design and Construction processes.
* Plan all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors.
* Manage and drive the team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
* Liaise with Quality Assurance and Safety on Site.
* Communicate clearly to all stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate must have:
* Good knowledge of design and construction process.
* Proven ability to manage people and programs.
* A trade background or a third level qualification.
* Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects in a similar role.
* A minimum of 7+ years as a Construction Manager.
* Computer literate and familiar with MS Office, Project, (or similar scheduling package).
