YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
The Project Coordinator will support the project team through all stages of a project’s life cycle (i.e. Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closure).
The scope of the role will encompass the following:
Project set up, planning and scheduling, monitoring and controlling, invoicing and closure in line with the WSP Project Lifecycle and Business Management System;
Coordination of document management, quality management, health and safety planning, procurement, travel and logistics;
Interfacing with global accounting teams to ensure compliance with invoicing requirements and assisting with facilitation of timely payment.
Most components of this role will relate to engineering, science, and/or environmental consulting projects. This role works closely with project teams to support the successful delivery of projects within the assigned business.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
Knowledge of project management principles and PMI’s Body of Knowledge
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6 or MS Project) common to industry practices
Experience in project support in a multi-disciplinary environment
Diploma in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint
