Solutions Architect (Payments)
Contract Details
* 12-month Day Rate contract
The Role
As part of a hybrid working model, you will work as a skilled team member of payment solution architects in a dynamic payments environment across multiple jurisdictions and payment types using various technologies.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of a technical solution by collaborating with relevant architecture and business teams to ensure that the correct solution is identified, designed, and delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
* Shaping and agreeing the solution architecture to align with Architecture Roadmaps, strategies, principles, and standards.
* Producing required solution architecture artefacts, including Architecture Design and bringing them to the Architecture Review Board for Approval.
* Guiding the solution design and engaging with partners at all levels to ensure the solution identified is fully understood and supported by all, aligned to the business need, fit for purpose, and provides value for investment made.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A solid technical background with proven experience in solution architecture and a strong understanding of the payment domain, including cross-border and domestic payments, SWIFT messages, and ISO20022.
* Experience in middleware technologies such as JBOSS, WebSphere, MQ, and Mulesoft, as well as database technologies like Oracle Exadata and MongoDB.
* A demonstrated understanding of risk management and excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to make technical conversations relevant to business and vice versa.
Desirable
It would be beneficial if you have:
* A number of years of Solution Design experience and ideally experience in enabling payment engines from the Finastra Suite of products (GPPSP, GPPHC, GPPMP, and GPP Fusion).
* Knowledge of all elements of payment lifecycles.
