Senior Governance, Compliance & Policy Manager - Day Rate Contract - Dublin
Responsibilities:
1. Promoting a culture of compliance within Financial Services activities
2. Participating in 2LOD Compliance Risk Governance Committees and attending relevant 1LOD Governance Committees
3. Assisting in the creation and implementation of comprehensive Compliance Policies
4. Reviewing and updating existing Compliance Policies to reflect new or amended Regulatory Requirements / Standards
5. Helping to develop an annual risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan
6. Engaging with Regulators regarding the Compliance Risk Framework, Policies, new Regulations etc
7. Ensuring all current and emerging compliance obligations are identified and integrated into new and updated Compliance Policies
8. Monitoring, identifying, advising on, and communicating the impacts of upcoming regulatory changes
9. Consulting with Legal on Compliance matters as needed
10. Developing and delivering a Compliance Training Programme
Essential Experience:
11. Min 5 years experience in a similar role within a Compliance/Risk/Audition function in Finance or Insurance
12. Professional compliance qualifcation or relevant degree
13. Experience working within a 3LOD Risk Management model
14. Strong understanding of current and emerging compliance risks, with practical experience in leading an effective control environment and the ability to benchmark and analyze various compliance risks
15. Strong analytical and communication skills
