Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Strategy & Performance Lead will drive the evolution of ALPI’s commercial strategy, ensuring it is optimised to meet the company’s ambitious goals. The role holder will play a central role in identifying and initiating key strategic projects, work closely with the Commercial team to deliver key objectives, and build strong relationships with Senior Executives to support the delivery of the overall ALPI strategy. This role is based in our Dublin office and adheres to Aviva's hybrid working policy.Duties & Responsibilities:Developing innovative solutions, supporting ALPI to create sustainable competitive advantage Developing deep relationships across Ireland Life and Aviva’s IWR businessDevelop close relationships with key functional areas across ALPI, including Finance, Product, Distribution, Operations, Transformation and IT, Develop compelling investment initiatives from ideation through to project mobilisation. Identify new ideas/opportunities in support of business priorities/growth and aligned with ALPI’s strategy. Lead presentations, collaborative workshops and fact finds with a range of audiences internally and externally to build and test strategic hypothesis. Develop relationships with Aviva counterparts across multiple markets, and build an in depth understanding of strategic priorities of other those business units to create opportunities to partner with a "One Aviva" approach Skills & Experience:Extensive Life & Pensions market experience across Ireland / UK. Degree or equivalent, with Actuarial qualification preferred, but not essential.A problem-solver with strong commercial skills, coupled with excellent project management / facilitation ability. Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including advanced skills in MS Office packages (particularly PowerPoint). Ability to navigate and summarise complicated topics into clear, concise, and compelling messages across various audiences (e.g., colleagues, Executive Committee, Boards). A resilient individual, with strong ability to influence and communicate across the business. Self-motivated, with an ability to use independent judgment, prioritise, handle multiple issues and challenges and adapt to changing demands. What will you get for this role?
