Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager to join our client's team in Nass, County Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the same location.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and optimise the supply chain to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
* Develop and implement material planning strategies to meet business needs.
* Purchase and manage materials, subcontract services, and handle general administration of relevant processes.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal/external parties to resolve issues and improve relationships.
* Process customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in an engineering company.
* Recognised qualification in a related discipline.
* Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments is advantageous.
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytics, and organisational skills.
* Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas and financial spreadsheets.
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is open to negotiation and will be dependent on experience, but is in the region of €50,000 per annum. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive package including a company vehicle, medical and life insurance, phone, and laptop.
