Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant/Office Administrator to join their team.
In this crucial role, you will ensure the smooth running of both financial and office operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in payroll processing, familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, and advanced computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and generating financial reports.
Accurately process payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Handle general office tasks, such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the POS system, ensuring accurate data entry.
Maintain precise financial records and assist with preparing financial statements.
Collaborate with the finance team in supporting budget preparation and financial planning.
Ensure the efficient and timely execution of office and financial operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration, with a strong focus on payroll processing.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with POS systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
