Job Description
We are seeking a technical lead to join our BRC AA facility as part of a core Quality and Technical team. This individual will lead the technical aspects of the site, focusing on:
* Maintaining quality management systems.
* Preparing for and leading external audits (BRC, Bord Bia, DAFM, Retail, and customer audits).
* HACCP team leadership.
* Managing internal audit systems.
* Supplier approval and monitoring.
* Maintaining raw material and finished product specifications.
* Completing online customer specifications (Aldi, Lidl, Dunnes).
* Completing customer paperwork.
* Maintaining NPD paperwork and participating in factory trials.
* Approving finished product artwork for FIR compliance.
* Investigating customer complaints.
This role supports the Cooked Meats (Ready to Eat) part of the business, requiring previous experience in a High-Risk meats environment (ideally 2+ years).
The ideal candidate has strong food industry experience, especially in meats, and is looking to support the technical aspect of a business.
This position is commutable from Limerick/North Cork/West Tipperary.
